Unpaid Items
Due to a lack of space we reserve the right to dispose of any unpaid items after six months. We will inform the customer by telephone before we dispose of the item.

Advice on packaging your repair items

Boots and Shoes

  • Remove footbeds
  • Make sure they are in a clean condition
  • They need to be well packaged to avoid sustaining further damage on their way to LSR

Waterproofs, Rucsacks, Tents.

  • Clearly indicate the area for repair – either by attaching a note on the damaged area of the rucsack/garment, an elastic band on a tent or by enclosing a simple sketch and/or notes.
  • You can use the garment repair chart if you find it preferable to making your own sketch (PDF – opens in a new window)
  • Make sure everything is well packaged to avoid sustaining damage in the post.

Order Form and Payment
  • Open the Repair Order Form (Opens in new window).
  • Complete all relevant sections.
  • Please ensure the Web Reference number is visible on your parcel. You will get this number after your order form is submitted.
  • We will get in touch by telephone or email to arrange payment once we have assessed the area in need of repair.
How to send your repair items

Two choices:

1. Bring the item(s) to us in house (see Contact page for details)

2. Send your item(s) via either Royal Mail or any other courier of your choice.

Return Postage

Return Postage with FedEx is £9.00 (for large tents - 5 berth or above - return postage is £16.00).

Additional repairs will be returned free in the same parcel.

For customers in ROI, CHANNEL ISLANDS and OVERSEAS the courier cost will depend on the size and weight of your parcel. Please call for details.

Insurance

All items collected by FedEx and/or returned from us via FedEx are insured for up to a maximum of £500.

We can only pay out insurance for items lost or damaged in transit where a copy of the original purchase receipt or bank statement is supplied to us should we need to make a claim on your behalf. Items without proof of purchase or bank statement are not covered by our insurance.

My son tore the sleeve of his very expensive Moncler jacket on a rose bush ( all my fault of course !).
I sent the jacket to LSR and it was returned/ days ago ( special delivery).
Since then we have been trying to work out how it was repaired as there is no sign at all ! The most I expected was a good patch repair but there is no sign of a repair at all . Brilliant ! So glad I found them as I’m sure I will use again. Top job

I recently received my Lowa Combat GTX boots returned from LSR, to whom I'd sent them for resoleing.
LSR were able to source new soles, even for my UK size 15 boots.
The quality of the resoleing is absolutely exceptional!
The assistance from the customer service team was wonderful throughout!

I sent my unworn Fjallraven down parka in for assessment and they said that it would be possible to have the bottom section removed and the drawstring refitted, the coat was far too long, they managed to do it! So happy!

'LSR have once again proved to be the best in the business. My Lowa Mountain boots were fitted with a new mid sole and outer soles and are now good for another five or more years. Considering replacement boots of the same quality would have cost £150 plus this is the best option, and I don't have to break in new boots. Excellent in every way.'
